What is a Nappy Cake?
A Nappy Cake is a clever, impressive and practical gift perfect for every new or expectant mum. It is a tower of individually rolled nappies arranged in tiers to look like a wedding cake. Goodies are hidden inside each tier as a lovely surprise when being unwrapped. Our nappy cakes make a wonderful crowd-pleasing baby shower centrepiece, and will be the topic of conversation for days or even months afterwards!
What items are hidden inside?
Our Nappy Cakes contain many different items including bodysuits, scratch mittens, teethers, bath toys, brush & comb set, and even champagne! Each Nappy Cake on our website has a full detailed description of ingredients.
Can I add a message to the Nappy Cake?
Yes, every Nappy Cake includes a gift card for your own personal message. If the cake is to be delivered direct to the recipient and you would like us to complete the gift card on your behalf, please provide us with all the relevant details in the message box at the checkout. You can also enter the recipients delivery address at this point.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours of an order being placed and Nappy Cakes are sent by courier therefore your item will need to be signed for. Please allow up to 7 working days for your item to be delivered before contacting us.
Deliveries are Monday to Friday.
If you have an urgent order, and would like your Nappy Cake by a specific date ie: next day - please contact us and we will do our best to meet your requirements.
All other items on our website will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post in a suitable box or envelope.
Can I have the Nappy Cake delivered direct to the recipient?
Yes. When you have added your chosen Nappy Cake to your shopping cart please enter details of the family you wish the cake to be delivered to. You may also wish to specify a gift card message to the family at this point (see earlier FAQ). Your order details will be forwarded to us, and we will contact you to confirm that your details for delivery are correct.
Can you arrange delivery to Southern Ireland and abroad?
Yes, please contact us for specific postage costs.
How are your Nappy Cakes packaged?
Our Nappy Cakes are packaged in double walled sturdy boxes which have been made to our specifications. This ensures that our cakes fit the boxes exactly, leaving no room for movement. Any gaps are then filled with bubble wrap, which ensure the cake is held in position, but not squashed.
Are you able to provide alternative sized clothing?
Of course. Please feel free to contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to meet your needs. If any of the items requested are not in stock, please allow extra time for your cake to be delivered.
Can I have a tailor made Nappy Cake?
Absolutely! Our bespoke cakes are very popular and we will be very happy to hear from you and make you a special cake.
Do you offer local delivery?
We offer FREE delivery to local surrounding areas of our premises including local hospitals or even a direct delivery to the recipients home (gift wrapped, unboxed) by one of our team.
Please contact us with your required delivery address to confirm if you are eligible for FREE delivery.
If I live in your area, can I collect my nappy cake?
Yes of course. You are more than welcome to collect from us. Just let us know when you intend to collect your nappy cake.
What kind of nappies do you use in your cakes?
We use Pampers size 3 new baby nappies suitable for babies weighing 9-15lbs in our cakes unless otherwise stated in the item description. If you would like us to use a larger sized nappy please contact us.
How do the nappies stay rolled up?
Each nappy is hand rolled and secured without the need for glue. The nappies are not damaged in anyway and are perfectly suitable for use once unwrapped.
Are your nappy cakes ready made?
We do have a very small selection of Nappy Cakes in stock but we mainly make our nappy cakes from scratch when we receive your order. Each nappy cake is unique and some items are subject to availability, sometimes they may vary slightly from the picture, but if we have to make an item substitution it will be of equal or greater value.
Can my nappy cake be gift wrapped?
All our nappy cake prices include gift wrapping in the price shown.
